Exploring Microsoft’s Apptivate

Stack Overflow and Microsoft have partnered to give developers a good reason to create great Windows 8 apps.

They’re calling it Apptivate, and it offers a cash prize of $5,000 for the winning app. The entry period ends December 6. You don’t have to develop an app to win — you can also be a reviewer, for whom the contest also offers nice prizes.
